3. Legal Basis for Processing
Under the UK GDPR, we rely on the following legal bases:
● Contractual Necessity: To perform the services you have purchased.
● Legal Obligation: To comply with accounting, tax, and UK consumer law requirements.
● Explicit Consent: Required specifically for processing your health and medical data (PAR-Q and PAR-Q+) to ensure your physical safety during exercise.

You have the right to withdraw this consent at any time by contacting us, though doing so may mean we can no longer safely provide the services to you.
5. Data Sharing and Third Parties
We do not sell your personal data. We only share your data with trusted service providers necessary to run our business, including:
● ABC Trainerize: The core app where your training plan and metric data is hosted.

All third-party providers are required to respect the security of your personal data and treat it in accordance with the law.
6. Cookies and Tracking Technologies
We use cookies and similar tracking technologies (such as the Meta Pixel and Google Analytics tags) on our website and checkout pages.
● Essential Cookies: These are necessary for the website to function properly (e.g., managing your shopping cart or keeping you logged in). These do not require your consent.
● Analytical/Performance Cookies: These allow us to recognise and count the number of visitors and see how visitors move around our website. This helps us improve the way our website works.
● Targeting/Advertising Cookies: These cookies record your visit to our website, the pages you have visited, and the links you have followed. We use this information to make our website and the advertising displayed on platforms like Facebook and Google more relevant to your interests.

7. Data Security & International Transfers
We implement robust technical and organisational measures to prevent your data from being accidentally lost, used, or accessed without authorisation. When data is transferred outside the UK (for example, through Google Meet or Meta advertising infrastructure), we ensure appropriate safeguards (such as Standard Contractual Clauses) are in place to guarantee a UK-equivalent level of protection.
8. Data Retention
We will only keep your personal data for as long as reasonably necessary to fulfil the purposes we collected it for, including satisfying any legal, regulatory, tax, or accounting requirements (typically up to 6 years following the end of your contract under UK law).

If you have a concern about our data practices, you have the right to make a complaint at any time to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO), the UK supervisory authority for data protection issues (www.ico.org.uk). We would, however, appreciate the chance to deal with your concerns before you approach the ICO, so please contact us first.
